THE BIGGEST LOSER

Dave Bierkamp

EME began their very own Biggest Loser competition right after the holidays. Nine EME team members have hopped on board and taken the challenge. The contestants have been doing weekly weigh-ins to Mike Kellykeep track of their progress. The challenge will last three months, with a winner for each month, as well as an overall winner.

All of the participants have been working hard throughout the month. The final weigh in for January showed outstanding results. The Biggest Loser January winner was Dave Bierkamp, with a weight loss of 9.15%. The Biggest Loser February was Mike Kelly, with a weight loss of 2.06%. Congratulations to Dave and Mike for being monthly winners. Keep up the good work!

Good luck to all of our participants and we look forward to seeing great results in at the end of the competition in March. Only one month to go!

SAFETY FIRST

EME is launching a new safety campaign, “Get Down with safety, Team EME, and Lincoln Elementary”, in 2007. We have asked a 5th grade class from Lincoln Elementary to help in our efforts to keep our team safe. The students will be making safety posters that will be displayed in our warehouse to remind workers the importance of safety on the job.

EMOGRAPHY™ SERVICE

EMography TM CameraA challenge for investigators in the past has been finding or detecting accurately where moisture from water intrusion or other sources exists in the structure, for example the cavity of your walls. EME has invested in some new technology using a thermal imaging camera, allowing us to quickly and accurately locate and visually document areas of concern. Moisture problems due to condensation or water intrusion will change the temperature of the wall surface slightly due to evaporative cooling. We will use our EMography™ service, not only to find moisture, but to document the dry down process so that you can be confident that the wall is totally dry.

Our EMography™ service is a radiometric thermal imaging system that enables us to accurately determine the temperature of any surface at a distance. Our EMography™ technology is being used to quickly identify not only potential moisture issues, but problems associated with excessive heat in electrical systems, clogs and leaks associated with plumbing systems, flat roof leaks, HVAC duct leaks, energy conservation issues (interior and exterior), missing insulation in wall systems and attics, post fire hot spot identification, predictive maintenance and process monitoring issues in manufacturing, etc. The list goes on due to the problem solving nature of the EMography™ technology. We can capture the image and provide our customers with a color print out report for their records.

We are proud to be able to offer you this technology as part of our services. Don DeRoo and Stacey Supanich received their certificate in thermography after completing training courses in St. Petersburg, Florida, provided by Restoration Consultants. Protect your property and investment and gain peace of mind through the use of our EMography™ inspection service.
