September 2007 EME & THE DETROIT TIGERS We are sure all of you know by now that EME is celebrating our 10th year of business! To commemorate, we held a celebration party at Comerica Park earlier this month. The day was a success; good friends, good food and the Tigers beat the White Sox 3-2!
We would like to thank
everyone for attending and look forward to seeing everyone at our 20th
year anniversary celebration! THINK SAFETY FIRST! Think Safety First! In keeping
with EME’s theme, we recently had a CPR & First Aid Certification training
for all our project & field supervisors. The training was led by D. Schilz,
Red Cross representative, held in our River Rouge Conference Center. |

DRY ICE BLASTING
OXFORD SQUARE The Oxford Square Apartments project in Clinton Township is nearing completion with the final phases of the renovation. EME was subcontracted by Rolar, Inc. and LARC to address asbestos and mold environmental issues. We have worked along side with other contractors involved to make this project a success. |

Not
a blast from the past…. EME is
now using dry ice blasting in
some of our mold remediation projects. Dry Ice Blasting process uses dry
ice pellets, which changes to a vapor (CO2 - liquid carbon dioxide) to
clean mold spores from impacted surfaces and leaves no residue behind.
This process is especially useful in small tight areas which would be
difficult for hands or tools to reach.
