OXFORD
SQUARE Dateline June/July 2006 – Oxford Square Apartments in Clinton Township, MI is undergoing a complete renovation. EME is proud to be a part of it! Rolar, Inc.,
the Troy based construction management company, and LarC Properties,
Inc., Southfield, subcontracted Environmental Maintenance
Engineers, Inc. (EME) to
address the asbestos and mold environmental issues. EME has worked with
Rolar on several projects in the past. Steve Guyot, ASTI (Applied
Science and Technology, Inc.), Brighton, worked hand in hand with EME
providing clearance testing as the units were finished allowing efficient
scheduling with construction trades. |

Our
asbestos crew was headed up by Darrell
Love who recently was promoted
to supervisor within the EME Team. Dave Bierkamp supervised the mold crew
and clean up activities. Dave recently completed his mold remediation
certification through Interactive Occupational Training. Darrell and Dave
coordinated their crew’s activities to
maximize their efficiencies and get
the units ready for the regular construction crews.
